It has been revealed that Matthew Perry had plans to make a movie about his life and had expressed his desire to cast actor Zac Efron in the role.
Entertainment reporter Athenna Crosby, who dined with Perry at the Hotel Bel-Air one day before his passing, shared this information in an exclusive interview with People.
According to Crosby, the late Friends star "wanted to make a movie about his life and have a biopic made."
He had also specifically mentioned Zac Efron as the actor he envisioned portraying him in the biopic. Perry believed Efron would be an ideal choice because of his performance in the 2017 comedy movie "17 Again," in which Efron played a character that was supposed to be a younger version of Perry.
Matthew Perry passed away on October 28, which came as a shock to the world.
He was found lifeless at his Los Angeles residence, and reports suggest that he died from apparent drowning, with no foul play suspected.
