Melissa Reeves, a prominent figure in 'The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion,' recently reflected on the dynamics of Season 39, describing the cast as 'boring' and 'two-faced' in an interview following her elimination from episode nine.
In conversation with EW, Reeves candidly expressed her dissatisfaction with the season, contrasting it with her previous experiences. "It felt far more dull compared to my other seasons," she remarked.
Highlighting a preference for seasons involving seasoned contestants, Reeves emphasized the lack of camaraderie in the latest installment. "I thrive in seasons with experienced veterans who know how to enjoy themselves. This time, it was just constant whispering and a lot of duplicity," she lamented.
Surprisingly, Reeves conveyed a preference for the confined conditions of 'Total Madness,' where she resided in a bunker devoid of sunlight, over her limited stay in a luxurious mansion with a pool during the latest season. "The atmosphere was less enjoyable this time, largely due to the dynamics within the cast," she elaborated.
Addressing the aftermath of her elimination alongside her close ally, Tula 'Big T' Fazakerley, Reeves humorously pondered the implications for the show. "What's next?" she mused. "With us out, it's unclear how the dynamics will shift. They'll likely turn on each other now that they don't have us to direct their focus against."
Reeves delved into various season happenings during the interview, including disputes, rumors linking her romantically with castmate Kyland Young, and other noteworthy incidents that transpired throughout the course of the show.
