Kate Middleton and Mary, the new Queen of Denmark, are really good friends.
After King Frederik's affair rumors last year, Princess Kate was there for Queen Mary.
An insider from OK! said Kate was a big help when the rumors about the Danish King and Genoveva Casanova came out.
"Kate doesn't like getting into personal stuff, but she told Mary she's here for her," the insider said.
They talked recently when Kate checked how Mary felt about becoming Queen.
In October, the Danish King's eldest son was in the middle of affair rumors after being seen with Genoveva Casanova.
Now, Mary is the Queen Consort with her husband Frederik, who became the Danish King after his mom, Queen Margrethe, unexpectedly stepped down on New Year's.
Kate, who will be Queen with Prince William after King Charles, is watching and learning from the new Queen.
The insider said, "Kate will pay close attention because it might be her turn soon."
